Alchemist’s Apprentice Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do Not Directly Collect

The App has no accounts, sign-in, or social features. We do not directly collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses, and we do not run our own servers that receive your gameplay data.

2. Game Progress Stored on Your Device

Your progress (ingredients, potions, currency, upgrades, equipment, and settings) is saved locally on your device. This data stays on your device unless you use iCloud Backup, described below. Deleting the App or using Reset Progress in Settings removes the local save.

3. iCloud Backup

The App can back up your save to Apple’s iCloud key-value storage so you can restore it on another device signed in to the same Apple ID. This data is stored in your own iCloud account and is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot see or access it. Reset Progress also deletes the iCloud backup.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded ads, for example to earn a temporary boost. AdMob may collect and process certain data including:

• Device identifiers (such as IDFA where permitted)
• IP address
• Device information (model, OS version, language)
• Ad interaction data

Ads may be shown as:

• Non-personalized ads (based on contextual information only)
• Personalized ads (if consent is granted where required)

5. Consent (EEA/UK/Other Regions)

In certain regions, you may be presented with a consent form to choose how your data is used for advertising. You may change your consent choices through your device settings where applicable.

6. In-App Purchases

The App offers in-app purchases, such as removing ads. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store payment information. We may receive confirmation that a purchase was successfully completed so the App can unlock what you bought. You can restore purchases from Settings.

7. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules local notifications on your device, such as when a brew finishes or as an idle reminder. These are created on your device and do not require us to collect any information. You can turn them off in the App’s Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

8. Analytics and Device Information

Third-party services, including Apple and Google, may automatically collect limited technical information necessary to operate and improve the App, such as:

• Crash logs
• Performance data
• General usage metrics

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is rated 9+ on the App Store and may be played by children. It has no accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by third-party services. However, no system is 100% secure.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access information associated with you
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent
• Opt out of personalized advertising

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
