Alchemist’s Apprentice Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to Alchemist’s Apprentice (the “App”), provided by Zayns LLC, doing business as Sidd Games (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who Can Play
The App is rated 9+ on the App Store. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please ask a parent or guardian before using the App or making any in-app purchase. A parent or guardian who allows a child to use the App agrees to these Terms on the child’s behalf.
2. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. The App is licensed, not sold.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App, except where the law allows
- Use cheats, hacks, memory editors, modified save files, or modified versions of the App
- Interfere with the App, its purchases, or its backup features
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
4. Virtual Items and Currency
The App includes virtual items such as silver pieces, ingredients, potions, equipment, and boosts. These have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you only for use inside the App. The reward reels in the App use only in-game rewards. Nothing in the App offers real-money gambling or the chance to win money or prizes of real-world value.
5. In-App Purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases, such as the Boost Bundle, which speeds up silver, gathering, and brewing for a limited time. Purchases are processed by Apple, and Apple’s terms govern payment, billing, and refunds. We do not receive or store your payment information. A boost applies for its stated time once purchased, and an expired or used boost cannot be restored. Refund requests should be made to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Advertising
The App may offer optional rewarded ads provided by third parties such as Google AdMob, for example to earn a temporary boost. Watching an ad is always your choice. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites and services they link to. See the Alchemist’s Apprentice Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.
7. Game Progress and iCloud Backup
The App has no accounts. Your progress is saved on your device. The App can also back it up to your own iCloud account so you can restore it on another device signed in to the same Apple ID. Progress may be lost if you delete the App, use Reset Progress in Settings, turn off iCloud, or if we reset or change the game. Reset Progress also deletes the iCloud backup. We cannot recover lost progress.
8. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App may send local reminders to your device, such as when a brew finishes. You can turn these off at any time in the App’s Settings or in iOS Settings.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, artwork, audio, music, names, and logos, is owned by Zayns LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any ownership rights in it.
10. Changes to the App
We may update, change, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features, virtual items, potions, and game balance.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zayns LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits, or virtual items, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Apple
These Terms are between you and Zayns LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms.
